It's a universal service book. Some Hondas have a 12,000 mile/12 month schedule and others a 9,000/12 month schedule.

The S2000 has a 9,000 schedule, so if you do more than 9,000 a year you need to have it serviced more often.

In this case, the time was used for the first 2 services which were both done in January. The Third service should have been done in January 2010, but was delayed until October 2010 when the 27,000 mile limit was reached (this is "too late" according to Honda's recommendation), and the fourth service was done correctly one year on in October 2011, even though the car had only done 4,000 miles.

Because of the long gap between 2nd and 3rd services, things are a little out of sync.

If you went by time, the 5th service (45k) should have been carried out in January this year, so that's probably the one to go for next.

Easy, Honda use the same book for the whole range of cars some are 12500 (I think the Jazz is), you need to look at the top part. As posted earlier every 9000 miles or anually for the S.
