I'd like to have a go with one but to be honest I enjoy playing with a manual change too much (Double De-clutching and no clutch changes etc.)

I enjoy the manual change, but then I enjoyed other car's changes before this. Now they feel like mush. You've always got to improve.

Semi auto is the future, not sure that I am a huge fan, but its gonna happen just like traction control etc.

I just want launch control cause that could be soooo much fun

How does launch control actually work? Do u hit a button and the car does the rest and at what pointdo u regain control?

I hear a lot about it but no real idea of how / what it does.

not 100% certain Kelk, just see the F1 obys utilising, something like you select launch control for the start floor the acclerator and it does the rest, bit boring really, but fun on traffic light grand prix's maybe.

My last car (prior to the S) had an Auto box with what they called "Sports manual". This was a clutchless change system, very fast, smooth, and you could do almost as much with it as any ordinary manual box. I would not object to it on the S.

The gearbox and shift is one of the best points of the S2000 - I wouldn't like to change it.

- Auto is for fat men in Mercs. Semi-auto is for those who are neither Arthur or Martha, why would anyone want to give up the best manual box in the world for a button? You'll be wanting rain sensing wipers, heated seats and cup holders everywhere next you bunch of girls
