seized calliper loosen wheel nuts?
I'm off to Munich. Just arrived at LHR and as I pulled into the car park I could feel/hear that there was probably a seized calliper.
Felt the wheels. Rear offside is warm but easy to touch.
Then I notice that a wheel nut is missing. Check the others on the wheel and they're not loose by hand but I had to torque them up a bit with the wheel wrench.
It's the locking nut that has gone so I've replaced with a normal nut that was in the boot.
There's very little chance (never say never) that I left them untorqued...but I find it hard to believe that the heat (of which there wasn't much when I touched the wheel) could be responsible.
Thoughts?

In my case, the heat transfer of a track day melted the powdercoating in the nut recesses & hub flanges, sufficiently for them All to go wobbly.
And I tend to only 'just' torque the locking nut, so it would be the first to go.
So, yes.
