Default seized bolts on air box base

As the title says really. The bolts on the base of my airbox dont want to budge and im trying to fit my K&N intake.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried WD40 but that didnt seem to help. Its now getting very frustrating!

Thanks,

Ross

Have you tried unbolting the brackets from the car instead of the airbox from the brackets?

Plusgas, because WD40 is sh1te.

You could also try some heat, and a bit of shock.

Place an old screwdriver on the top of the bolthead and hit the screwdriver fairly gently with a hammer. This may break up the rust enough to get the bolt moving. You may have to drill the boltheads off eventually!

Well I have tried everything and still not had any luck! It might also be worth me pointing out that only one of the bolts is actually rusted. the other 2 look to be in really good condition but still dont want to move anywhere!

Agree with Plusgas. re-apply every few hours and leave overnight.

WD40 is utterly useless for things like this.
