Default Secondary air pump

Engine management light is on on my s2000 showing up air pump short of power. Would this be a problem wit relay? Or would I need to follow power supply back to try find a break

I would take this as an opportuiny to remove the whole lot - Winfreak does a kit with a resistor.

But it sounds like an air leak to me, does it sound excessively loud (like a hoover) on start up ? What code is being thrown - there is a specific relay code, an air volume code and a pump code - that will help you track it down.

Does the pump work? Clearly if the pump is doing something, there's nothing wrong with the fuse or the relay.

It gets ~5kg off the nose of your car.

Didn't honda design the car with a 50/50 weight distribution? Removing 5kg's from the front is going to upset this...

Fix it and keep it standard

I'm pretty sure the weight of the driver might affect the balance slightly more than the airpump.

50/50 weight distribution is destroyed the second you get in the car - and can you tell the difference with 5kg of shopping in the boot?

5kg is neither here nor there unless you're in competitive Motorsport.
