Default Second Hand Value

Hi,

I bought my S2000 02 model (Monte Carlo Blue) back in March 02, it is an import from HondasUK and I paid 23.5k new. It has 10k on the clock, garaged, weekend use, plus a long 3 week vacation to France and Italy this summer hence mileage.

I have been offered a very tempting deal on a new M3 and although I have not driven it yet I am rather tempted to know what I would expect from a fair private sale.

Nick.

Anyone like to speculate how much the car would be worth if it was not an import?

As an owner of a 2002 'UK' car I obviously paid a little extra when new and wonder if I will get the extra back when I come to sell it?

I would guess not more than a grand or two, literallly, if the car is not import.

Try looking under the dash of the M3, you'll find the BMW version of the highway code! Rip out the page that says (and I quote ) 'Ensure you are stapled to the rear bumper of any vehicle in front of you, especially at speed' and slightly lower down the same page 'whatever you do stay in the fast lane of a motorway (any public road) especially if there are no cars in the other lanes or your junction is more than 15 metres away'

only kidding!! You must be mad even considering such a swap!!

Most M3 drivers use one hand on the top of the steering wheel.

What are they doing with the other?
