Just out of interest is the sole reason for having the buddy club seat rails to enable the seat to move back and forth? I did see alot of fixed mounting brackets available. I imagine it must be easy enough to modify one of those to suit what position you want the seat?

A guide to fitting pole positions on buddy club runner's

They work with buddy club rails.
Do they slide on the rails? I haven't managed to get the large Buddy Clubs to slide yet. They get wedged against the tunnel.

It's an MOT requirement for the drivers seat to be adjustable to 3 different positions if the car originally had sliding seats. The passenger one can be fixed. I had to put the original seats back in for the last MOT as my driver's one wouldn't slide.

Yep, both of my large BC seats slid forwards and backwards.

It is extremely tight and I had to modify the seats a little (peel back some of the edging along the tunnel side for each seat) but you can fit them in nice and low with full slide functionality

Well the runners have turned up but the seat will be at least 3 weeks or so as they are made to order. I can see why people moan about the buddy club rails. The welding on the bracket they have fixed to the runner is minimal. I might get it welded by a friend in between now and when the seats turn up. I cant understand why they didn't run a bead of weld along the edge of the bracket and runner. It would be difficult but im sure its doable. It's almost only tack welded on. Quite poor when you think of the forces going through that bracket in the event of a crash.
