Will the seat be a permanent fixture in the car or used for track days only?

If its the latter, then remove the passenger seat, carry the bucket seat on the passenger side and install when you are at the track.

My Bride seat is tight as hell but I don't mind that on track

Permenant fixture ideally, bit of a PITA taking it in and out. I drive to Europe twice per year (Ring / Spa) so it needs to be ok for that, and as I mentioned eralier, MB senior needs to fit in it

Which Bride do you have?

MB, I would not go for a Bride or a JDM Recaro such as RSG or TSG they are designed for the smaller Japanese frame and will be tight. The JDM Recaro SPX in my other car are tight across the lower back/kidney region and I'm a smaller chap that you.

Wow! I am with you MB the last thing I want is to buy a seat and not be happy with it!

You can get 2 P1 Limited editions from here, I don't like the multi-color style of the standard racing items but these look ok!

There is always Tillet....

How about the seats from a caterham or lotus?

The rails are different for ech side so you would also need to swap rails and that starts to become a PITA.

Just one thing about the Buddy Club seats, the suede on the bolsters wear down quite quickly but I had mine recovered with leather (you can see this in the photos) and this looks and lasts so much better.

Once you start using a bucket seat you won't want to go back to using those slippery leather things.

You should have bought a red one to match your full red interior.
