My S200 is under two years old and the passenger seat mechanism appears to be broken and therefore, the seat canot be adjusted forwards or backwards. In addtion, the leather has split in a couple of places. Are either of these covered by the manufacturers warranty?
Also, the hinge to the main glove compartment ( the one that sits between the two seats) has broken and once again, I am unsure if this is covered by the warranty?

Can't see any reason why the seat mechanism shouldn't be covered
Suppose it depends where the leather has split....if it's around the stitching I'd say yes......otherwise they may argue it's wear and tear
Glove box lid....yes if it's a manufacturing defect.......and you say it has broken AGAIN........if it has been repaired before, all repairs should come with a guarantee.........
