Default Seat headrest trim

I've decided to give my seats a bit of tlc. The plastic trim on the rear of the headrest is a bit scuffed so I was thinking of removing it and spraying it. I can't see how to remove them from the seat.

Anyone any ideas. I suspect it may be sliding it in a particular direction as there doesnt seem to be any retaining clips obvious to me.

I've found someone in Godalming, Surrey who does repairs to the leather panels. He says he's already done a number of S2Ks, including red leather. Price seems quite reasonable.

Just spring clips - get your fingers under the edge and pull

I've done it this way a few times.

There are 2 clips towards the top and 2 at the bottom, so pull straight out and it will come off. The clips are metal so don't worry about snapping them like you might if they were plastic.

Yeah, how do they come off to do the rears of the headrests?

I was thinking moonrock would look good to match the paintwork of the car!

You need to remove the cable that runs down and under the seat
Or cut it and splice it back together
