The buffalo website has a lot of info, plus a colour guide, and they'll even do a colour match if you supply a patch of leather.

Hi Spies,

I've just PM'd you as I have exactly what you need to repair your seat.

I had exactly the same problem when my wife slightly nicked the read leather part of my seat with her studded jeans. Went to some expense buying a custom matched dye and after applying just a smidgeon you'd never know (seat as good as new).

Renovator cream is part number red 10051
Filler paste is just called dark red

Full kit has cleaner, neutraliser, sealant and renovator plus filler sanding pads and two cloths

Has anyone got any pictures of their repairs to give an idea how good it is?

I was planning on using gliptone as their cleaning stuff is excellent and can mix up a kit that's the exact match to your car...

I'm interested in the stuff from Leicester though as it's close enough to pick up for me

I don't have any photo's but I can vouch for the results
I bought this kit part used from a member on here, I believe it was a group buy so try a search
To do it properly you strip all the oils and conditioner of the seat then sand the whole seat, at this stage you think you have ruined it
Then you fill any deep cracks and scratches, next it's the color restorer which you build up in layers until it's all an even dulll finish.
Seal it and feed it and it gives a satin finish not the cheap gloss you sometimes see.

Blimey, sounds like a long process! I'm guessing its best to take the seat out of the car to do it then?

No it's no problem to keep them in the car, it takes around 2 hours including waiting for one seat

Can you let me know the product name that you used to repair the red leather? I have scratched leather on the side of my seat from getting in and out of my S2000.
