If you are not in a rush to get up to the far North of Scotland, we can give you some routes that are far more interesting than the M74 from Carlisle to Glasgow and the A9 from Stirling to Inverness.
(I would avoid south west scotland on the 8th November though, as I gather there will be some louts tearing around in sportscars frightening the locals
.)

re Scotmicromeet, I take it from Stuart's lack of posting that he went to that spoiler fest in Dundee tonight ? I hope he brings back some pics.
