I'm definitely up for a borders meet in the near future though. The A68 was such a good road until you Scots ruined it with your cameras. The English bit is still a Gatso free zone

Jim - where are you?Neil - I never drove the A68 before the cameras, so never had the benefit of the lack of Gatsos. That said, the Scottish side of the A68 is very busy, and lots of nasty junctions, tractors etc so I reckon the cameras are fair enough - as you say, the road only gets interesting once you cross the border
for (even though I've only been on it once!).

Yes it was Jim, but you missed a good meet - found plenty "interesting" roads.
We did manage to get lost 2-3 times though
All counts as useful research for the next scotmeet

we even mounted a cross border raid into engerland)Neil, I'm sure we can get some sort of meet together even if you are not in Bamburgh - Iain and I were at Kielder before heading back north on the A68 - its not that far from scotland really, and the roads are good.
