Leather centre console (red)
Clear side repeaters with orange bulbs
Bass box in the boot (shaped to boot floor)

Hi Cedric
I have not timed 0-60 but its fast - better is the 50-100 (blistering!).
I hope I can bring a Ltus to some of the meets as I will miss the folk in the S2000 club - of course I will be playing with the Lotus - but on a naturally aspirated basis!
Thanks again

How does the engine sound when you redline 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Also how long will the engine last if it is pushed to its limit? Also who in the UK can work on this car?
I must say its a beautiful piece of art!
Thinking of investing in my second s2k. But i might just go stock.

Hi
I tend not to redline in first or second due to the relative strength of the box. As such I have a gear change thats sweet and no problems.
When looking to get a SC I looked at the US users and got good advice from Wesmaster. He ran a SC without an intercooler for over 30,000 miles with no problems. Mine has an intercooler plus much more refined fueling and ignition. As such I would expect to get at least 50,000 miles more on the engine - assuming you gave it an oil/ filter change every 3000 miles and all other servicing was adhered to.
Tuning Japanese know this car well and have had it for around 3 elapsed weeks over the first half of this year. They have probably put around 500 road and dyno miles on this car this year and I have only put about 1000 on myself! They are probably the most able in the UK at the moment on the S2000 and between Ike and Tim have a lot of knowledge on Japanese cars.
Hope this helps

Blew up the first SC in my Corrado G60 (chipped plus VW Rallye smaller drive pulley = more boost) only 10,000 miles after beingmodded. I had been racing a Porsche 911 along the A505. The failure mode was, the SC cover blew a chunk of metal out as I slowed on overrun as the 911 left me on straightline speed south on the A1(M). Luckily nothing went into the engine which was anyway rebuilt, re-cammed and the ECU remapped by AMD just north of Oxford.
The point is, by careful use + regular maintenance subsequently the second SC is still fine nearly 100,000 miles and 8 years later. My son has just sold the car.
From the picture of your engine compartment the Vortech looks a similar shape to the G-Laden.

Maca,
Quick question! Its seems like you love BHP and love to perform extensive modifications, thus being unique.
You must have spent over 40K on your s2k! Did you ever considered the TVR tuscan! Looking at the second prices for a 51 model you can get one for
