Wow - PWE 896 - I am sooooooo jealous! I am thinking about getting the HKS system - does it sound much louder than the stock exhaust? How much did it cost and where did you get it installed? Cheers

It sounds absolutely brilliant (ask Tifosi Red!)

I got it second hand from Maca when he "Mugened" his car so I don't know how much they are new. My friendly Honda dealer fitted it for me (and is storing the stock exhaust for me too!). He's also fitting my LAser Diffuser on Friday and hard-wiring my Road Angel at the same time.

Try the limehouse link in the docklands, I've been going thru there most weekends at about 7-8000 rpm in 3rd/4th gear. The tunnel is about a few miles long, the pedal hits the metal once I'm into the tunnel.

There's also a nice drag straight about a few miles long too just outside Buckingham Palace. Its the road with the red surface.

Living in the city, its hard to find a place to really floor it safely. These are my 2 favourite camera-free spots where I can hit about 90-100.

Hope this helps the Londoners.

Any other reccomended driving spots in London?

So VTEC on people!

Shit..... I'll keep my eye out next time I decide to floor it. Another good spot is the A40 bridge from Paddington - White City. Was doing abt 90-100 (kph of course) in 4th there today. Was a blast. I always make it a point to check my mirrors religiously whenever I decide to make tracks. Always looking out for the unmarked car and hidden GATSO.

Anyway, back to the topic... I'm also been wondering whether its safe to VTEC or not. But if umpteen thousand S2000s built since 1999 have enjoyed almost millions of hours of VTEC fun, my intuition tells me that its safe to VTEC. But I am thinking of dropping by at my dealer and asking them to just check the torque of the spark plugs. Or buy a torque wrench and do it myself. Anybody in London with one that I can borrow? + the spark plug socket too.....
