Default Safe Dash Cleaning Products?

There's a red mark on the dash from where a dealer wedged a red plastic price thing in between the windscreen and dash, some of the red has been left behind on the dash, what spirit might be able to shift this without harming the finish of the dash underneath?

I had a similar mark on mine. I told the dealer to remove it before I took delivery.
He didn't tell me what they used. Try rubbing it with a wet finger or a soft pencil eraser to start with before resorting to chemicals.

Start with a wet microfibre cloth, best thing I have found for cleaning marks off the dash.

Any other suggestions? I don't think simply rubbing it will work.

Why not try it first rather than guessing?

I think you just answered the question I had of "How the hell did the last owner get that red mark on my dash"

Now I probably know!

Let me know what you use/if it works as I have one to remove too

Previous owner tried without success but did say he hadn't tried any spirits as he was worried it might damage the dash.

I have one as well. Every one that gets in the car comments on it. Dash clothes and rubbing has not helped

It can only be a printing ink dye of a sort so should be removable with something such as surgical spirit. Try a very small spot first before trying the lot!
