Well, I already passed on the trophy for 'Outstanding contribution to S2ki' to AE at SM5 earlier in the year (for those who don't know, it's a trophy handed to the most deserving person each year by the last recipient - it's their own choice and they can pick whoever they want - I picked Ian).
He works tirelessly for the community here, I don't know anyone who goes to more meets, he's always even handed when his moderator hat is on and he's always there to help out when needed. And no-one else has managed to get their dad on the board since the Munroe duo left, which is reason enough. He's quite a nice guy too

Thread of the year has to be the Carpers Mishap thread - where else could you find a thread celebrating members' crashes?

Meet of the year - LeMans - far and away the best meet I have ever been to.

Most satisfying S2000 moment - being a passenger when Kate (my g/f) got the car to powerslide at the Academy Day, that's my girl!

best newcomer award is shared by S2000 SM and Kitty - one always contributes erudite and interesting posts to the serious discussions, one always posts stuff which makes me laugh - I'll let you decide who's who...

Quote of the year "I only slowed down when my passenger was sick" - one of the Jock crew, apaologies for being too lazy to go back and find out who it was, but it made me spit apple juice all over my screen.

Biggest Change in a Poster - Zero, it's like he retired from controversy.

Best Meet - Le Mans.

Best Drive - The way to Le Mans.

Best Newcomer - Kitty. The Law of the Playground site stopped me working for a whole day.

This was C7BLE's quote.....

I hate to shatter an urban myth, but this was in a Civic Type R, although it was trying to keep up with a pack of S2000s at the time

(and I was the passenger who was NEARLY sick - as it was Mrs C7BLE's car I didn't dare actually in it )

Best meet for me (outside of the big organised SM's MM's etc) would be Northumberland and Borders top meet neil

Great contributions:

Bonesy's wind up on matt
neil for doing the FAQ
mike for doing the DSS
Jaeger for doing the insurance
StevenM for doing lots of charitable GB's and keeping the monthly herts meet going
Vixen for doing the Monthly Berks meet
Turtle for his heaps of Technical information
Ade for doing MM1
Scooby for the route on MM1
Mans Best for the DVD's
chesh for keeping it real

I'll be passing the s2ki trophy for outstanding contribution cup on to someone very deserving of it very soon.

NOOOOO!

It's a yearly thing - you've got to keep it until at least the summer!

There must be loads of people left still to ask you what that huge cup is for, only for you to mumble about internet friends and cars in an embarrassed way.
