I'd say Gerry at performance tek is a good shout. Been taking my car there for 3 years and has always been excellent. I know it's a bit of a trek if your from Edinburgh - I'm from Falkirk so not exactly local either but I drop my car off then have a wander around Glasgow for a bit then go back and get it.

Gerry was who I was going to suggest for the big services. For the minor ones though any decent garage I would be happy with.

What about Duncan at Hypertech near Falkirk?

Trusted him with my beloved S15 for years and I've seen him with all sorts from R35 to their own charged EP3 so a service will be nothing for them

For a valve adjustment I would say he is most capable, phone him and ask, really nice guy! Loves cars which helps and I think has this sweet K20 Jazz he modified... could be wrong though!
