Without lip - looks cool. The front end looks rounded but still good.

With lip - looks intimidating. More purposeful poise, mean and makes the car seem wider.

Can't decide and I like sitting on the fence.

Seriously, both look good. I think I prefer without and it might be something to do with the lip fixing.

But then I don't have a lip and I know I would probably feel different if I did.

One thing, I do hope the external mods don't go too far. Nightmare vision of Max Power stuffed with S2000s in 2007........

I was having a look around a few cars at the Blurter meet and, although I agree with the comment above, painting them a neutral (i.e. black) colour definately seems to tidy up the appearance of the wheelarches. Why Honda don't do this anyway is beyond me...my car is <6 months old and they look bloody awful already :-(

I enquired whether the lip/spoiler/skirts offered any aerodynamic advantage and was told they were purely cosmetic items.
The car looks great as is IMO so I decided not to add the extra weight/drag, as I would much rather have a fast S than a tarted up one.

Besides that you cant see them from the drivers seat so who cares what they look like?

But you would see it almost everytime you walk back to your car (or if you're as sad as me, everytime you walk away from your car and look back over your shoulder.... sigh.... and think it's bloody filthy, I really must wash it this weekend )

EXACTLY! Thank you.

If it does nothing, what actually is the point? (Rhetorical).

Only one answer: Rice!

Next stop will be a Civic 1.4 with a Vileside body kit. It's a slippery slope.
