It would be nice, but my budget will be 18,000 - 18,500 and I have about 15 or so at the moment, so I'm a little short of the mark (if you call 3,750 a little that is ) If you've not sold it by the time I've mustered the money then I'll gladly take a look

Ed,
We have the same time-scale. My new MY02 is on order for delivery mid-October. Could you be interested in a 'forward' deal? For my part it would save hassle and allow something for me to drive meantime. Obviously we would need to allow for a few more miles + increased age.
If you're interested I can PM the full spez. I'm planning to get a few photos up here, but as they're not digital I need some time with a quality scanner (at work, when they get the Internet back ...!).
Mine is well sorted, unashamedly driven plenty but with a soft touch. No history of problems unlike some, touch wood , the engine is nicely run in . If you don't like black/red-black interior with front/wheel/rear spoilers though .
The S2000 was featured in a film nationwide last Autumn and the kids at school were all over mine http://www.thefastandthefurious.com. But mine doesn't have a NOS booster fitted so it's

Sounds like a very nice car, however I still need to sell my CRX. 3 months is my estimation of when I will have the cash, so I don't want to commit to anything unless I'm 100% that I'll be able to produce the goods, as with all things financial this is not guaranteed.

And now someone's gone and parked a red S2000 outside my window! I have a perfect birdseye view of it from here. Well that's my productivity down the pan for today

Yes, Black shows everything more close up, yet paradoxically it disguises the lines better so the body parts look best on it. Silverstone on the other hand changes with the light and not so mean! As you say, there isn't really a naff colour (except perhaps Nurburgring Blue - woops, I daren't say that - too many love it - but what's my handle for if not to stir a bunch . Trouble is I saw a light metallic blue first on a 911 in Palo Alto in the early '70s and nothing else fits since. I was probably under an influence at the time mind!).
