S2000 vs. Ferrari 360
Had a little spat with a brand new Ferrari (Reg AX51 XXX) believe it was a 360, but not really into Ferrari's, so maybe wrong
Anyhow...
Came off a roundabout behind the atypical red Ferrari and he floored it, pulled away from me and I had the pedal hard to the floor, reached just into 3 figures then he backed off a bit as we came to traffic and then a 2nd roundabout.
Did a complete 360 to come back onto the road we'd just come off, and a topless S2000 came on behind me. Gave a wave (Hello to silver/red), but not a good idea when you are toeing it around a roundabout, trying to hold onto your rear end
Ferrari guy floors it again and doubles the distance between us, but as we hit 3 figures he backs off a little and I just keep it to the floor with the S screaming its balls out. Ferrari pulls into the 2nd lane I scream past pushing well into 3 figures (long stretch of dual carriageway, no joining roads, great visibility and dry).
Never taken it that high before and was suprised how well the car handles at that speed, engine roar was fantastic. Roof felt like it was going to be ripped off tho.
Reach the original roundabout and turn off, didnt see the Ferrari or the S again.
I think he must have been running it in
and he must have been well gutted that he couldn't shake a 20k pocket rocket off his tail!
Probably find out that it was a Covin replica on an escort 1.3 chassis...
