I wish you could split the air - when it's raining and the hood is up, you are more likely to be getting drowsy, and so all the more important to be able to get fresh air to your face while keeping the bottm half warm.

I end up alternatively switching it on and off in these circumstances, but it is a PITA IME.

IIRC older Volvos had this split feature - 2 series I think, but it was scrapped in the 7 series

As for taking the roof off? You do that all the time when it's lashing down huh?
Roof down at above 30mph doesn't matter how hard it's raining you'll pretty much be bone dry. Optimum seems to be between 55~75mph. Too fast and you get the odd drop getting blown over the top of the side windows too slow and your hair might get wet if you've let it get a bit long

I think you will find that the vast majority of people on here couldn't give a feck about the distribution of hot/cold air in the car.

Now who's being defensive?
Just means I'm not going to worry too much if it looks like it MIGHT rain when I get in the car.

As for the insinuation that I'm a poser
Ugly er maybe but a pretty boy! Just take one look at my Avatar
