Ask Steven M, or Colin (just add lightness) Chapman!
Anti-mass is the way forward - improves acceleration, braking & cornering and handling in one fell swoop.
Looks like I will be buried in my current S2000 though - the next generation is a tad retrograde.
Unless it is to make more room for the 'Sub-NSX sportscar' that's widely rumoured.

Good news, if it comes to anything.
Would stripping 100kg off the weight really make THAT much noticeable difference?

EDIT: Christ, that S2K replacement is hideous! Why are all Honda's motors turning into Americanised heaps of shit?!
Oh, and it's going to take a step down and compete with the MX5? Great.

A Type R would be x 1000
It would pull a lot of defected owners back in.
But, attacking the Miata market with a replacement. No no no.
I'd love a Type R S though. Won't have any cash for one but would still love it.

If they did what they say above, I would very strongly consider buying one. Only the LSD would put me off another one. I miss it for kicking the arse out from junctions but that's it.
