Not a lot of difference? I think it probably does, Paul! The 3.2 S is a rather different proposition to the 2.7.
Even I would have to concede that the 3.2 is probably, overall, a more capable and accomplished car than the S. Just not THAT much more capable and accomplished to warrant costing me

Mark....I wonder how much difference there would be on the road between a 2.7 and 3.2...the horse power differential is not that great
The rear end of the Boxster is greatly improved by the Aerokit which has a fixed rear wing and it helps define it more in my opinion
Personally I prefer the styling of the S2000 but there's no denying that Porsche have/do make some of the most charismatic engines in the world

Looking that other post its looks to me that the Boxster is the the S version but a 2.7 so it should come last IMO. Straight cat fight between the S and teh Z4.... bring it on
I'm really looking forward to this

A Boxster 2.7S? Have I misunderstood what you meant, Moff? I don't think such a beast exists, does it? The Boxster only comes in 3 flavours - the original 2.5, the 2.7 which replaced it after a couple of years and the 3.2 S version which was then added latterly.
Whatever it is, it's in that manky yellow colour!

If it was a 2.7 why would it automatically come last ?
I doubt the whole review will be based on a 0-100 dash...and if it was and both cars executed perfectly of the line the 2.7 would be...oh....1 sec behind you at 100 (book times here mind).

Aesthetically I think front engine, rear drive is the way to go. Boxster is mid engined so the driver has to sit further forward
There are some obvious exceptions to this tho, and they're Italian
