Default S2000 sightings: REGIONAL

Karen and I were talking after spotting an S in Weybridge tonight, and we agreed that, although we posted quite a few sightings, very rarely did people actually own up to the sightings.
Is this cos they're not on the site, or that peeps don't really read it?

The CTR forum have a separate FORUM for sightings, such that each thread has the sighting as the title. Not sure how successful this is, but an alternative to this is having REGIONAL sightings threads, eg, a SURREY S2000 SIGHTINGS thread (or SURREY/SUSSEX/BERKS if you wanted it bigger).

People may be more likely to look at these threads.

A sticky could be placed, pointing people in the right direction for the individual regions' thread, similar to the colour thread on the main forum.

Thoughts please, ladies and gents.

I think most people that want to be either spotters or spotted will look at the main thread, especially as many people cover many miles in different regions!

As the cars could be spotted miles from their home territory I don't see the point in regionalising.

Yes, I think it should be kept as it is.

All a bit academic from my point of view
Last week for example:
Drove to S Wales - sightings en route - zero
3 days in Cardiff, Swansea, Port Talbot - sightings - zero
Drove to Hereford - 2 days of calls - sightings - zero.

Did get the 'nice car' treatment from a bevy of Japanese 'suits' in a service area outside of Swindon though

Too many sub forums of forums and subforums IMHO

The Volume of posts with sightings would not warrant a separate forum

As for meets though...
