S2000 and Sciatica.
Not a good mix, had day off with back pain today, too much 'detailing' over
weekend bent over! Just went out to shops in S roof down looked a right
cock hobbling over the road for a newspaper bent double.

have you tried sleeping with a folded towel under your waist when you sleep on your side
i had terrible back pain for years until i did this, it straightens your spine when you sleep. i was at the point where i could hardly walk there was so much pain. that was a couple of years ago , i would say im 90% better

I was told that the 70 year old previous owner of my S sold because of his bad back. I too have suffered with back pain but since I have taken up swimming have not been troubled - touch wood.

Had it on and off for years, I blame Karen for making me put weight on!
Yes sleeping in hasn't helped this Easter.
Getting in the Honda's seats is nice for ten minutes then it hurts.

I've been getting a bad back too, with a ligament on my left side causing me greif.
I have finally realised it was the S2000 causing it. Well at least me driving the S2000. I tend to tense up when cornering tightly as I find the seat does not keep me in tightly. This is particulary an issue on roundabouts - which I just love caning around.
May be some proper bucket seats would help!

I tend to tense my right leg at a funny angle in the Honda and end up
with cramp.... until I get a rush entering a corner too fast
A pain down the leg from the lower back is usualy sciatica, a common
pain caused by nerves being trapped and squeezed in your spine.
Happens to many of all ages.
Funny enough mine has subsided tonight, had a bottle of merlot though

I actually have one of those! I purchased a while back but never got around to trying it out.
Weirdly enough I discovered it today whilst clearing out the spare room.
Will be giving it a go....

The S gave me a bad back sometimes when I had it, a combination of being slightly too tall for the car (tendancy to slouch) and the seats lacking in lumbar support. I bought a lumbar cushion which helped a lot.
