I think it's well out of order them applying the car tax hike to cars already on the market. They should create a new "H" band which comes into effect for all the "57" plate cars.

There's no danager of me voting for this bloke or this sh1te party. TBH, they are all as bad as each other.

I've decided that its time to rebel....

I'm going to continue to increase the size of my beaters.... (Fancy a CL Merc next) as the bigger you get the more you get.

I need to check how big a car I can convert to LPG and then happily cruise around.

On TV this morning there was a woman from the "Alliance against Urban 4x4s"

There is seemingly no law to protect the general public from these morons (They need labradors - that'll give em something to do) so I intend to go on the offensive.

Best thing about this new VED law is it only applies to cars registered after March 2001.

That means it does not affect my S or my current big engined Merc..Woo hooo !!

Buy yourself a beater barge and P*ss off the Greenies

Ah, but the sneaky f ucker has got rid of the 10% lower rate of tax. Add on the 1% he put on NI, and we're all worse off.
I see - didnt realise there was a 10% section. what did that cover up to?

Putting the tax on a one off cost is stupid - once you pay your road tax you can use your car as much as you like with getting penalised.

If the tax on fuel had gone up instead, wouldn't you be less likely to use the car as much?
