was speaking with a mate in the trade yesterday who said that the days of the S2000 holding it's value are over

Paul, did you buy this car to drive or to worry about how much money you're losing on it?
I appreciate that funds are a bit tight for you at the moment, but however you look at it, there are very few cars indeed which are a "sensible" investment, irrspective of what the residuals are doing.
