S2000 makes you go deaf
I was talking someone last week who told me a friend of his had an S2000 and absolutely loved it. But he got rid of it after a couple of months as his wife told him it was making him go deaf.
So he bought a 350z instead.

My GF complains about the volume of mine. I must say I don't really notice anymore (the complaining and the volume).
The standard s2000 and a fair majority of the aftermarket exhausts are pathetic in volume.
I've had a few people parked next to me try and re-start their cars cause they can't hear their own engine ticking over.
It was never ment to be that loud, I just wanted freeflowing. So no cat, 2.5" pipe and a large internal diameter (2.5") backbox.

I agree, the roof down is pretty loud and you get the odd wind thump I've noticed as well. I thought this was just me as I built and competed in a few sound offs so my truck was quite loud back in the day.
