VED Rates in 2010-11
Band K (201 to 225g/km CO2) £245
Band L (226 to 255g/km CO2) £425
Please note these charges apply to cars registered after March 1, 2001. Vehicles registered before this date are taxed according to their engine size. From April 2009 cars with engines under 1549cc will pay £125 a year, and cars with engines over 1549cc will pay £190 a year.
These changes were supposed to have been introduced this year but were delayed by a year. As far as I am aware they will be going ahead this year

Not entirely correct there Steven.
See here http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/Ownin...hicle/DG_172916
* Band K includes cars that have a CO2 figure over 225g/km but were registered before 23 March 2006.
So post-March 02 and pre-March 06 fall into Band K will be £245.

Not entirely correct there Steven.
But it looks like the government have backtracked again
(There was a thread about this the other day that said that the government were still going ahead with the revised date for Band L)

MY99 -01 with an upgraded rear glass screen, is the best of all worlds.
They are the most track focussed and have a more prominent vtec.
The handling is not dangerous at all, just more sensitive to people who cant drive.
