Default An S2000 dilemna

I've had an S2000 on order since the end of Feb and is now due delivery at the end of Aug, but I've recently found out that I'll be moving from Lincolnshire to Oxfordshire with my job and that the money would be better spent towards a house.
We are going to rent for 8 month ish until we find our feet in the area, and then buy. I have got somebody to take over my order now with out any financial loss, or I could get it and sell it next May (before we buy a house), 9 mths old with maybe 8-9k on it, but how much would I loose on it if I did that??

Please help!!!

Old fart speaking.
Personally I think these things are addictive - i.e. having got one you won't want to let it go - if you are into houses - go for that and ignore the S2000 or whatever until the situation allows.
Not helpful I know!

In the next nine months interest rates will have gone up by at least 2% and the property market will crash.
