I bought up rated head studs when I did my head gasket! I will let you know where I got them from when I can dig out the receipt.
Hope it all goes well for you!
I hope you haven't sourced the parts from Honda, Vtec Direct can source the parts at a fraction of the price direct from Japan, try and speak to Andy. I have his mobile number if it would help.

Thanks for all the replies.
Unfortunately its not looking or sounding very good for the original engine. She is tapping/rattling quite badly.
I tried a few tricks last night-
I fished around with a magnetic tool to no avail. Span it over with all the plugs out in hope any remnant may get blown out of the cylinder. My mate swears that he got hit by something!! So expectedly started it with 4 good plugs- still rattling but miss fire gone.
Next 3 plugs in and one out and took it for a blast! Hheehe that was fun- managed to get a drift on and wind her up to 100 leptons on lawnmower power!
4th plug back in it still rattled- Took it for a spin to try and blow anything left out the exhaust. Still had loads of power but rattled bad!

Not necissarily. The ones we use (from memory) can theoretically be reused upto 10 times. Practically we only reuse them once though due to how we control the useage method (paint mark them after removing the first time.
Much to my wallets concern !!

Don't replace with stock Honda parts. You should look for ARP bolts/studs which are high quality parts that be reused a number of times. They stretch less and seal better. They are fairly commonly available from just about every speed shop worth it's salt.
Best of luck, sounds like you have some open heart surgery coming up...

When I had this problem with my NGK plugs it also wiped out one of the ignition coils. With the new plugs in you could try some basic diagnostics with the coils (disconnect to identify where the misfire is and then try changing the coil position). May or may not work but since it costs nothing to do might as well try it
