If it gets a UK release I'll be back in a S2000 exactly what I was waiting/hoping for.

Perhaps if it is released in the UK they'll make a few subtle changes?
Cheers,

A chat with Stocky from Luxembourg who occasionally lurks around the UK boards was a real eye opener. He has to follow the German TUV rules, which basically say that unless it's properly homologated from a manufacturer, it's not allowed on a car. That includes tyres. So that basically means no aftermarket kit at all, unless it's from an AMG/M/RUF/Manthey/AC Schnitzer type manufacturer. The Goodyear F1GSD tyres are illegal on an S in Germany.

I'm really amazed by the totally negative stance on this car, does
no-one have anything constructive to say?
The CR definately has issues but many of the criticism just seem to be an excuse to bitch for the sake of bitching.
A couple of things came up for me;
first of all, I'd much rather own a CR than an elise; at least you're getting a well made product with a far superior engine.
Second, to all those who expect everything to be white with white wheels, get an imagination!
There you go something to bitch about.
Cheers,
James.

I saw that video earlier today and I'm still asking myself why it's not having the absolute shit wrung out of it.
It's supposed to be a Club Racer FFS, not a bloody Jazz shopping trolley.

The best thing about the car is the tyres, and that no doubt is the reason that it is any quicker than the standard car.
There's nothing constructive to say (beyond the tyres) because the car is a shit heap.
As for picking that over an Elise that's your choice, but the CR is by no means a hardcore racer and isn't going to worry any either. Perhaps it might get past some quicker track focussed cars when they die of laughter seeing a chav racer in their mirror looking all serious.
