Good write up, or was it just a long chat with Brian Marshall when I saw a mod. on his car....if you track it a lot you can use tremendous amounts of oil..not by passing the rings, but by it being literally thrown out of the breather pipe at the top of the cam cover, & into the air induction loop to mix with fuel and be burnt off.

He had a oil catcher for track work, as track marshalls could see this burning oil & black flag you...so to a lesser degree if you are horsing it around some high G corners on the highway you will get this effect to a lesser degree.

Or the option of baffling the breather if its not already.
