After losing my S2 to a wall of anti ram-raid barriers, i've been it a bit of a pickle
i've been looking at new cars,(one,s with 4 seats )
I need opinions on the new AUDI A3 V6 Quattro S-Line.
Has anyone on here ever owned a audi, if so what are they like, How well do they go????????
I need HELP!!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moff's other car is an S3. I'm sure he'll chip in.
MarkB used to drive an A3, I think - I don't recall ever seeing a positive comment on here from him about it. I get the impression it was a fraught ownership experience

You really think their that bad. 0-60 is just over 6s, It already has 18" rims, and the bhp is about the same as the S2. Quattro so alot less chance of me lossing the arse end again.

Used to have an A3 1.8T Sport 99 (model)- pretty good hatchback, although not in the same league as the S. Quite a heavy car, and front wheel drive. S3 was quite entertaining, although Audi use a system that is Front Wheel Drive biased, rather than the Impreza's All Wheel Drive.
Depends waht you want, I quite liked the Audi, understated but quick. Service costs are quite high though, and my local garage were a load of complete sh1te to put it mildly

I used to have the Leon Cupra R which is the cheaper sister to the old pre V6 S3. Not quite as luxurious but exactly the same except as all the magazines said goes steers and handles better then the Audi.
The 1.8T is massively tuneable for very little money where the V6 isn't.
Could save yourself about

4 of my mates have them. Very nice cars and some real bargains to be had given introduction of new model shortly.
+ ideal for the current snowy conditions with the amount of grip available. My mate laughed out loud when i complained about the lack of traction on the way to the gym!!
