S02 / S03 tyres
Can you use S03 tyres on the S2000, everywhere I see S02 tyres mentioned and they are the tyres I have fitted currently, is there a problem with fitting S03 tyres to the S2K??

there is much debate on tyre choice........I ran a combination of S03's on the back and S02's on the front........the handling was lary to say the least
I now run Avon ZZ3's which I am happy with

You can use S03 tyres on the S2000. They seem to be the tyre they use in the states. Different compound to the S02 and are better for wet conditions. Rear size should be 245/45 x 16.

I'm running S-03's all round. Handles OK even in the wet, but if you want to run these make sure the rears are 245/45 x 16 or the back-end will be too loose even in the dry! Downside is that the 245's were damn expensive as they have a higher speed rating than the S needs.
My car's front tyres should wear out at about the same time as the rears next time around so I'm going to give S-02's a try then to see how they compare for myself. From what I have read on this site the S-02's will not be as good in the wet but if they are markedly better in the dry I will probably stick with them.
EDIT: When I bought my car the previous owner had 225 S-03's on the back and it made the car feel 100% more stable when I changed these to 245's - I'll bet the bad feedback on S-03's is due to people not having the correct sized rears fitted.
