Default S won't start after ECU reset

Ok,

Decided to do an ECU reset and a TB clean out to get the car nice and fresh.

Only problem is that the S refuses to start afterwards. I've checked the 7.5amp fuse and it's fine.

The car turns over and on occasions does fire up for about 2/3 seconds. It then stalls again and won't start. If I spray carb cleaner in it again turns over and fires up for about 4/5 seconds.

I need the car for work tomorrow so any help would be appriciated!

Thanks,

Nick.

There was something else similar to this quite recently - I think it's an immobiliser thing. A search might reveal more but sorry I can't be of much more help.

I didn't touch anything injector related though???

Immob - possible but it fires up for a few seconds, surely the immob would stop this altogether???

Thnanks for the replies!

Nick.

Thanks Rich, I'll go and disconnect it agian.

It's got a very empty tank at the minute and parked on a camber. The drivers side is much lower than the pasenge side. I did rev the car and clean the TB whilst on the camber so I wonder if it's starved of fuel. I did 25 miles today with the petrol light on. 12 of which were on no bars showing.

I'll disconnect the battery and talk a walk to the local shell to pick up some V-Power.

Back soon!
