glad you and the car is ok,ive spun a few cars over the years mainly a couple of bm's and quite alot of my old mk1 rally cars and a old capri lazer which struggled to go straight at the best of times in the wet...lol

Good to see it was just a clean it needed! Same thing happened to me on the last Ricky run I went to, the back end violently twitched left and right followed by another left and right. I kept her on the road and avoided a ditch myself. Once at the start point the group leader came to check my newly brown seats.

Wow, lucky escape!
I imagine the roads are very greasy now after weeks of dry weather and then a sudden downpour. Its amazing this car, even after driving the same car day in, day out for years, it can catch you out.

Glad your ok mate.
I've only owned my s2000 for 2 weeks but so far it's grip levels in heavy downpours has impressed me but I have not pushed it by any means and don't intend to in those conditions.
It seems to me that with any car the worse conditions are on good quality Tarmac when it had just rained and starting to dry out for some reason there is more grip when it's chucking it down.

I'm glad you survived. Your experience with the car no doubt helped. I used to drive my cars like a wannabe gangsta holding his Glock at 90 degrees, but not the S. i've got both hands on the wheel in a ten-to-two and have done for the past year, knowing full well that one day...
