If its not tyre pressure/tyres get your lower engine mounts checked, My car did this with brand new wheels and tyres and it felt very unstable when shifting higher up the rev range, this was just under

Not sure if i'm right or not, maybe some of the other guys on here could qualify this but in my opinion it could well be tyre pressures....!

Not sure if anyone else agrees....?

Tyre pressures...Most certainly.

I remember waayyy back when I had my first S, The dealer said he will replace my rear tyres when I pick it up. He did replace them with one Continental Sport Contact 1 and one Continental Sport Contact two. The car was like jelly on accelleration and 'twisted' a bit when you floored it.

I got the tyres replaces sharpish and it was happy driving from there on. It really is amazing how much a tiny difference in air pressue can make a difference too.

Mmmmm.. well you know I dont like to be contraversial but...
It could be tyres.

Could also be different rubber on each; binding rear brake; one rubber fitted backwards; worn bushes or other suspension components; bent rear subframe; bent chassis; geometery (rear camber/ toe) worn damper... endless really.
Start with cheapest and work through.

m1bjr,

Now you come to mention it I do get this annoying clicking from the back end (of the car) when i reverse out of the garage.

Thought it was either the pads moving in caliper on reverse or the rear suspension bolts need re torquing.

Oh well,

Will check tyre pressures first.

You have an 02 Steve so the click is probably worn hub nuts and unlikely to be related to the pulling problem (which is almost certainly tyres). The click is slight drive shaft play and will probably go if you replace the hub-nuts (about
