The S Has Taken A Dislike To Passengers
This has started to get very annoying now. After a night of rain, when I start the car up and drive off, a river of water pisses out the seal above the passenger window. It comes from the join in the seals about halfway along the top of the window. I greased the seals not that long ago (about a month) with the Shin Itzu stuff but that hasn't cured the problem. There is a fair amount of water that comes out and any passenger in the seat gets a good soaking.
Anyone managed to solve this problem or even come across it?

yep same problem with me - but on the drivers side
if i accelerate i get it on the shoulders and when i break it comes out of the seal at the front of the window.
now after heavy rain i just wind down the window and squeeze along the sill with a cloth

Window seals can hold a lot of water. With me depends on how the car was parked.
That is what angle it was parked and which direction the wind was blowing.
It's all part of the fun. just carry a towel.

I get this on the drivers side if the car is parked facing downhill.
There's a section of exposed tubing that the water drains into.
My cure was building a garage.

I have never had this problem, except the odd drip when I hose the car so there must be a reason why some get it and others don't.
When I apply the shin watsit grease I do it with the roof part down and apply it in all the various joints and ends of seals, also slide my finger behind all the folds in the seals.
Other than that

I get this problem on the driver's side only. There must be a common reason that it occurs so often, and that it seems to happen on either side would indicate a design or wear and tear flaw. Anyone actually solved it?

is your window coming up to seal on the glass propperly, migth be worth getting it adjusted if it's coming in through a gap between the glass and the rubber.
