Default Rust

I've found a small pin hole in the paint on the passenger door. This has started to rust and will only get worse. Any advice on the best way to sort this?

Just out of the 3 year warranty last summer.

Thanks!

Take it to a bodyshop

Dent/scratch people are hit and miss IMO.

Chips away guarantee their work for as long as you have the car. I had a first class job done by them.

I had some terrible work done by Chipsaway that they paid me compensation for in the end to get a real bodyshop to re do the work.

Basically you can't paint the car well unless it's in a dust free environment.

Body shops tend not to guarantee their work where rust is involved.

That's some beautiful fleck in that paint btw

Is the corrosion warranty only 3 years? Corrosion and mechanical warranties aren't always the same length - corrosion often longer (no idea in the case of the S...)

Probably not covered by corrosion as it looks like a stone chip, the only way corrosion warranty would be covered if the paint was unblemished and it started underneath the paint.

From what I've seen they break the corrosion warranty down in 3 ways. bodywork surface rust is 3 years, perforation 12 years and chasis 10 years. not counting suspension bushes
