Running out of things to do

Having kids was a very useful thing. Between about 8 and 12 their arms and hands fit into tiny spaces and they are fairly easily trained in menial tasks. Reaching things inside doors for example.
I couldn't have fitted a new alternator to my Elise without dangling my son through the back window and down into the engine bay.
He's 14 now though and is becoming rapidly more useless as his current growth spurt continues.
Bloody expensive to run though.

I must admit my children are now low in running costs, a bit like a hybred!
Toby when available is slim , he must take after his mum in that respect and being a truck mechanic very useful in many other ways.

Get yourself an ECU and we can fit some of them.
Have you removed your brake splash shields and fitted any brake ducting yet?

Remove any bolts you think you might need access to later and copperslip the threads - having just replaced the foglight on a 58 plate Jazz and literally had to angle grind the bolts off due to rust and corrosion ... if i ever buy another new car it is the first thing i will do.
