Rubber trip at base of side windows

Rubber trip at base of side windows
I noticed today that the piece of rubber trim at the extreme rear edge of each side window on my car has split. It's a very thin piece of flimsy rubber that goes round the rear edge of the side window, attached to the door. I reckon it must have stuck to the glass and got ripped when the window went down. Has anyone else had this happen?
