Default Rubber Rubber Rubber

Here we go again!

Its that time again to replace the rubber on my car, and I'm thinking that I want to try something different this time, something other than Bridgestone. Don't get me wrong the Bridgestones are okay in the dry but theres a lot more wanting in the wet and when us UK people have year round tyres, the selection is important. I'm thinking of switching to Toyo or Michelin?

Suggestions recommendations and places to go would be useful?!

Although be prepared to change them sooner than the Bridgestones.

I have toyo T1-S all round and am really pleased them. A bit more progressive than the Bridgestone and dont give as much grip in the dry (though not by much IMHO). My rears are due to be changed so going to get me some T1-R's and to be honest I have not found the wear to be that much different.

As for stockists I would suggest Bracknell Tyres - they know the S really well so know what the doing with the tyre size issues etc.

Use Event Mobile Tyres - (tel 0870 240 7787).

They will try their hardest to compete on price and, much more importantly, they'll come to you at home or work and fit and balance them on site.

That's gotta be worth a few quid extra.

I've used them twice now and they are tops!
