17x9 +38 definitely needs tab relocation and fender roll.

I'm not worried about tab relocate / slight fender roll. As long as its slight enough to not crack the paint or anything its all good

I'm more about finding the best size so the wheel is most 'flush', BUT not poking out at all. I think wheels hanging out the arches looks stupid, likewise wheels recessed 5cm into the well looks weak too. Not sure what the ideal is to go for really

Rich, on the Cannonball the other week, Fatbloke's wheels looked just right. He had OEM wheels with 15mm spacers. Perfect IMO.

Looking at SBC or Silver RPF1s at the moment.

seems that LSD Motorsport are the place to go to.

what differences are there in shipping between the two?

I am assuming they will be shipping from the same warehouse? can anyone confirm?

just need to work out what size is the best idea to go with.

this is essentially my concern. I am not mega keen on getting arches rolled etc but if it is needed to run wheels that fill the arches better then its a necessary evil I guess.

I cant work out what benefits of keeping a staggered setup are.

Taking into account the fact the OEM wheels and tyres with 15mm spacers all round looked about right, I've looked at the Enkei's and how they would work with what offsets are availalbe.

By my reckoning, and I could have this all completely wrong, here goes lol.

The measurement from the back of the wheel hub to the ouside edge of the front tyre on an OEM 17" std wheel with 215 tyre is appx 52.5mm (215mm tyre, less half the width of the wheel 89mm , less the offset 55mm, less half the overhang of tyre from the wheel 18.5mm)

If you went for a 7.5 ET45 with a 225 tyre the measurement from the back of the wheel hub to the outside edge of the tyre is appx 67mm.

This different set up would mean the wheel sits appx 14.5mm further out.

Taking that into account, and comparing it to the std wheels with 15mm spacers set-up, which looked just right, this would give the same finished line-up at the wheelarch.

Then, looking at the rears.

The measurement from the back of the wheel hub to the ouside edge of the rear tyre on an OEM 17" wheel with 245 tyre std is appx 57.5mm

If you went for an 8.5 ET40 with a 245 tyre the measurement from the back of the wheel hub to the outside edge of the tyre is app 82.5mm

This would give a difference between the two of 25mm so would stick out 10mm further than OEM with 15mm spacers.

If you went for an 8.0 ET45 and a 245 tyre the measurement from the back of the hub to the outside edge of the tyre is appx 77mm . A difference of appx 19.5mm. (4.5mm more than OEM with 15mm spacers, but may still work)

No idea if any of this helps but it made me look busy in the office for half an hour

I went with RPF1 in 17x8 and 17x9 both ET45 and after some fender rolling I think it sits perfect now with 225/45 and 255/40 tires.
25mm lowered on Öhlins, maybe could have gone lower but I like to use my car instead of just look nice

Glad to help
The tires are Federal 595 RSR which are kind of big for their size, so might look a tiny bit smaller with different tires.
Just a small thing to keep in mind.

Was going to say the tyre profiles looked bigger. Looks nice though sits just about right.
