Abriachan is little more than about 4 houses!! I have two female friends who's family (woods) live there with a nice house overlooking Loch Ness. Family are a little on the zany side though Not intimate with the roads in the area but you'll find plenty to have fun on I'm sure

Rob, you have PM

There are plenty fun roads around there once you get away from Loch Ness itself - the road that runs up the west side of the Loch is pretty bad - busy, few overtaking opportunities, dottery tourists, high accident rate, best to take it easy there. Once you get away from there, there are good routes about 30-40 minutes away either side of Loch Ness.

Not sure which way you are going there, but if you plan on going via Glencoe (A82), while stunning scenery and impressive road, there are long delays at a bridge rebuild there currently (up to 30 mins). Also watch for cops/vans on the Glencoe road.

Whatever you do, when driving off the main roads at night be VERY careful - deer are common, and although tempting to speed when the roads are empty, I have to forec myself to keep below 50. IME deer + stag @45 mph in a SAAB 9-5 is expensive - I would think S2000 + stag would be terminal
