Thumbs up Rotrex S/C or Mase Turbo

Ok people with the Rotrex charger now on the market and also with the addition of the Mase Turbo soon to be released.

Which would you choose and why ?

Or maybe stay N/A

Place your bets

I'd rather have the Mase turbo setup! Bags and bags of torque. Super car killer!

The only down side for me is that mase is across the water, so if anything goes wrong your on your own
Trust me, Im very big on customer service, Ive done countless hours of R&D so that nothing will arise, but if something does, we will always take care of it. Also working on having an authorized installer for the kits based in the UK, so please dont let that steer you away.

It entirely depends what you want from the car, so it's not really comparing apples with apples.

For me, the car could do with 40-50 bhp more, not 200, so a Supercharger or low pressure turbo would be my choice.

While 400 plus is an amusing number, I believe the balance of the car would be upset without brakes and suspension, and maybe fatter rear tyres (in theory based on how a standard one feels and behaves). Great for a drag monster though!

I'd also add that it's one hell of a good price for this Mase kit.

The only thing that would concern me about going turbo is the loss of the 'character' of the car. Isn't this one of the reasons people stick to superchargers? Or have things evolved in the turbocharger world so they're a little more subtle? Plus, what's the lag like? I hate lag!

if you dont want all the power, you can certainly turn down the boost. You can enable the boost curve to follow so that the power is completely linear so it even feels like an NA car.

This kit can be configured so that it makes anywhere from 300 whp up to 500 whp.

Controlling boost actuator?

Sounds good to me. The price of the kit is very attractive.
