I'm not sure exactly what the rules are so I'll ask first.

If someone offers me a set of wheels (not from this forum) but I'm unsure if its the right price I should pay (i.e too expensive), can I tell you all the price and you can tell me if it is reasonable or not?

Thanks

Matt

I was actually looking at a set of AP2 V1 17'' wheels. The seller says he has recently had them powdercoated (not the OEM diamond finish), from the photos they look immaculate except where the wheel nuts have been they have removed some of the coating, which wouldn't bother me as it would be seen when on the car.

He's after £620 for rims only.

Is this a good deal or should I wait and try to get a different set or do they not come up on sale very often?

Thanks for the help

Matt

I'd say that's to much, I'd be looking more around 450-500.

Items for sale are only worth what someone is willing to pay

OEM wheels do sell for a high price though, especially as new ones... I've been around here long enough to know... 620 is a little high but they aren't particularly common.

I'm not saying this as I am selling a set (they will sell at the price I have them for) but have a look at previous FS threads for an idea.

I have just become the proud owner of a set of AP2 v1 wheels. Can wait for the weather to clear up and get them on

Thanks for all the advice guys, I may need help selecting some lowering springs in a couple of months, and if there are any problems buying used spring kits.

Thanks

Matt
