Roof won't go down
Hi Guys, the car has been on axel stands for about 3 weeks whilst i cleaned underneath. I started up today to test the brakes as i have just reinstalled the disk, pads and caliper carriers on the passenger side and whilst checking if everything was working i have found that the roof doesn't go down. There are no warning lights, it doesn't make a noise like its trying to move and the other buttons (hazards and heated rear screen) are working. Does being off the ground trip something? Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Matt.
Thanks
Matt.

I think i know what it is. A few months ago my drivers door lock actuator wasn't working properly and would only unlock the door half the time. i bought one off ebay but i think it was a US version (so it fit on my drivers side, but to them it would be for the passenger door).
there are 2 sockets on the actuator i removed but only 1 on the new one (power). I installed it and it locked and unlocked both doors when using the fob.. a few days later when i was driving i locked the door from the inside and noticed that it didn't lock the passenger door, also if i lock the drivers door using the physical key it doesn't lock the passenger side. I assumed that the second socket must be for the central locking. I suppose it also links the doors with the roof so it lowers the windows with the roof. Just a theory.

I do remember an issue with mine when I was fitting speakers. If the window switch unit isn't connected (I had the door cards off), the roof won't work. Maybe something similar?
