Roof wear
My cars just coming up to 2 yrs old yet the soft top shows significant signs of wear which looks,as far as I can tell,to be caused by the roof mechanism.Any one else have this problem and if so is it a Honda warranty job??!For info,my cars a GT model so the roof has been folded down for quite long periods..not that this should make a difference!
Apart from this the car is mint with only 8000 miles! Not happy!Help!

There have been quite a few posts on this. Use the search facility, the earlier cars are worse than others I think. Should be replaced under warranty no problem

I had my roof replaced a few months ago for this reason. Get it to the stealer ASAP and they should do it no queries (after they have sent pics to Honda UK.
My stealer made a right arse of putting my new roof on and stretched it so had to change it again at their cost (after arguments). I refuse to use them anymore as they have been crap on a number of occassions (Trident Honda Surbiton hang your head in shame)

I have just bought an 04 GT, I saw a few 04's whilst I was looking that had had the hardtop on for long periods. The vinyl roof on several show "polishing" signs along the stays across the roof and vertical creases in the rear quarters that did not clear with the roof up.
IMHO it may be related to it being a GT having had the hardtop on for long periods. Either way it should not go like that - get it to Honda!
